Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software and simulations for marine robotics and related sensors.
- Design and implement robust solutions for complex software engineering challenges, including data management, real-time synchronization, and inter-component communication.
- Approach problems from a fundamental perspective, ensuring solutions are robust and well-founded.
Required Qualifications
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design philosophy.
- Demonstrated ability to approach problems from first principles.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with UML (Unified Modeling Language).
- Interest in physics, particularly in applying physics concepts to create realistic simulations.
- Comfortable working with equations and mathematical concepts.
- An open and curious mindset with a desire to learn new concepts.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with ROS2 and Gazebo platforms.
- Interest in signal processing and probability.
- Knowledge of or experience with underwater robotics and marine environments is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
